Join the Cadena Cultural Center and the Ethnic Studies Department for a lecture on building ofrendas and a hands-on workshop. Dr. Amber Gonzalez will facilitate a lecture that will dive into the history of ofrendas created for Día de Muertos and participants will have the opportunity to build their own mini ofrenda. Please bring a copy of an image of a person/being you would like to honor (relative, historical figure, pet, etc.) on your ofrenda.
