Two Spirit Identity

The Cadena Cultural Center and LGBTQIA2S+ Resource Program are thrilled to welcome Steph Viera to explore and unpack the meaning of "Two Spirit (2S)" in honor of Native American Heritage Month. Steph, a community organizer and storyteller, will facilitate a student-focused talking circle to illuminate the many perspectives on the Two Spirit identity through stories about being Indigenous and LGBTQIA2S+. If you have found yourself wondering what the "2S" at the end of LGBTQIA2S+ means, join us to learn and dialogue around this important cultural and spiritual identity.
