Inaugural Black Graduation Ceremony

 

May 22, 2024 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

We would like to cordially invite you to Fullerton College's Inaugural Black Graduation Ceremony themed “Bold, Black, and Brilliant" on Wednesday, May 22nd from 4pm - 6pm in the main Campus Theatre, followed by a reception in the outside Quad from 6pm - 7pm. 

We are excited to celebrate our black graduates and Umoja Scholars this year! We have planned an amazing ceremony that includes drummers, a cultural dancer, a black national anthem singer, a DJ, a keynote speaker, a photo booth, soul food, and dancing.

Additionally, Umoja is covering the costs of cap and gown for students participating in the ceremony, black graduates, and our Umoja Scholars.  They will also receive an Umoja stole/ sash to wear at the main commencement ceremony.
