Edible Book Festival @ Fullerton College Library What: Create edible works of art that: look like books, are inspired by books or have content from books. Participants are limited only by their imagination! Winners will be selected for the following award categories: • Most creative Student winners will receive a $25 gift certificate good at various retail stores. Departments and clubs that win will get a premium-quality frameable achievement certificate to potentially display in their common areas (along with bragging rights).DEADLINE To Apply for the FC Library "Edible Book Festival!"

DEADLINE TO APPLY IS THURSDAY, MARCH 22, 2018.
Who: Students, divisions, departments and clubs are encouraged to participate.
When: Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Set-up: 10 - 11 a.m.
Browsing and photography: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Judging: 1 - 2 p.m.
Where: Library lobby, 1st Floor
How: Please RSVP to Val Macias, librarian at vmacias@fullcoll.edu by Thursday, March 22, 2018. Submit your name (or department, club or division if applicable) and title of book.
Why: The FC Library Edible Book Festival is modeled after the first International Edible Book Festival founded by librarian Judith Hoffberg and author-artist Beatrice Coron in 2000 as a way to “unite bibliophiles, book artists and food lovers to celebrate the ingestion of culture and its fulfilling nourishment.” Libraries worldwide celebrate books at this fun springtime festival.
