Grads to Be Presents: Undocumentedness: No Papers, Full Lives

February 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Undocumentedness: No Papers, Full Lives is an academic seminar for students and campus‑wide audiences that explores the social construction of undocumented status. The session supports mental health and persistence by disrupting shame and fear, and it draws parallels between undocumentedness and other diverse lived experiences. Participants reflect on their own experiences with visibility, exclusion, and resilience; examine how status shapes access, belonging, and self‑perception; and learn to counter deficit narratives through possibility, skill‑building, and future planning. The seminar provides a shared language for understanding status as a structural force.
