Speak Out Webinar: 2020 Live Commencement Address

May 14, 2020 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

For Graduates, Their Families, and Anyone Wanting to be Inspired!

No caps. No gowns. Campuses around the country have cancelled or postponed college graduations due to physical distancing. Yet how can students' hard work and success be acknowledged without the pomp and circumstance, ceremony and regalia?

We welcome you to join us for a powerful, live 2020 SpeakOut Commencement Address from acclaimed author, poet, and performer, Sonya Renee Taylor. With opening performance from world-renouned drummer and activist, Madame Gandhi.

Committed to radical self-love as the transformative foundation of how we change the world, Sonya will leave you invigorated as she explores what gets transformed when we relate to each other as humans committed to living together in this complex and beautiful world.

Graduates, families, and anyone wanting to be inspired during these challenging times, we welcome you to come together to celebrate this milestone for so many young people around the country and around the world.

Sonya Renee Taylor is the author of The Body Is Not an Apology: The Power of Radical Self-Love and founder of an international movement and organization focused on radical self-love and body empowerment
