Faculty, students, and staff can join the Cadena Cultural Center & Student Health Center in honoring Denim Day by donating jeans at our center (Building 500, Room 512-02-box near check-in area) or the FC Library Circulation Desk! The organization, Peace Over Violence, developed the Denim Day campaign in response to the activism surrounding jeans. Now, wearing jeans on Denim Day has become a symbol of protest against sexual assault and harassment. All donated jeans will be donated directly to Fullerton College's The Hanger and a local OC Shelter. We are encouraging the campus community to WEAR denim in solidarity with the national day of recognition, April 24, 2024.

The Jean Drive is happening Monday, April 22-24^th. The campus community has been encouraged to stop by either our center or the library to donate their gently used jeans. If you happen to be at the front desk of 512-02 and someone comes in asking about drive, redirect them to the decorated box located by Check-In Area. You can also mention the library location.
