The Wall of Remembrance The Global War on Terror (GWOT) Wall of Remembrance traveling memorial was built to honor and remember those lost in America’s longest war and in subsequent terrorist attacks on Americans in which loss of life occurred. One side of the memorial has a full color historically accurate timeline told with few words and mostly images that are family appropriate. The timeline tells the story from the bombing of the barracks in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983 to the most recent attacks like Orlando, Florida and San Bernardino, California. The other side of the memorial bears the names of about eleven thousand American fallen Heroes and Victims from the global war on terrorism. It is a perpetual memorial because there is no set end to these wars, so names are added continually to the respective panels. The wall will arrive at the Fullerton College quad around 11:00am.November 6, 2017 N/A -
