CADENA CULTURAL CENTER
The Cadena Cultural Center is a program designed to foster belonging for all students on campus through its diverse network of various departments, student organizations and resources. The center also hosts student-centered workshops and programs throughout the year, which are open to all students regardless of race, sex, ethnicity, national origin, gender or any additional protected status.

Our events and programs throughout the year honor the rich identities and lived experiences within our campus. Heritage month celebrations, educational workshops, and guest speaker events offer meaningful opportunities for connection and growth. We proudly recognize and celebrate:

- LGBTQIA2S+ History Month in collaboration with the LGBTQIA2S+ Resource Program
- Native American Heritage Month
- Black History Month in collaboration with the Umoja Community Program

- APIDA Heritage Month in collaboration with APIDA Amplified Program
- Undocumented Student Success Week (USSW) in collaboration with Grads to be Program
- Kwanzaa Celebration in collaboration with Umoja Community Program
- Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Week in collaboration with Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Transformation Team
