Intelligent Lives: A Discussion Focused on the Inclusion of Students with Disabilities

The Intelligent Lives webinar will be a discussion oriented seminar that utilizes the documentary "Intelligent Lives" as a spring-board for a conversation about inclusion. Specifically, the discussion will focus on the inclusion of individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities into college. employment and the community. Adam Gottdank is the Director of Disability Support Services for North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE). Adam will facilitate the conversation and include information about services that NOCCCD offers to help students with disabilities take inclusive classes, obtain employment, and live independently in the community. The webinar will feature Dawniel and Chris Boucly who have a 10 year old son, Luke, who has ID. The Bouclys will share a parent's perspective as they anticipate what their son will need when he transitions to college and his adult life.
