Resources for Students Who Qualify for AB540
In a safe and open environment, we will discuss this legal California law that allows non-resident students (regardless of citizenship status) who meet certain criteria to pay in-state tuition, as well as resources available to students who do not qualify for state and federal financial aid due to citizenship status. Resources for Students of Color
Students of color are still underrepresented in college degree attainment. Don’t become a statistic! This workshop is for students and friends of students who are Latino, African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander, or Native American and want to learn about the variety of resource and programs designed with you in mind! Resources for Students with Disabilities
In a safe and open environment, we will discuss the resources and laws that exist to support students with disabilities. Topics will include various types of disabilities, ADA, confidentiality, and specific campus resources. Resources for First Generation College Students
This workshop is designed to help first-generation college students overcome obstacles particular to them such as lack of support from family and friends, lack of knowledge of how to navigate the college system, and building support networks among peers and faculty.
