The Clothesline Project is a vehicle for those affected by violent crime to express their emotions by decorating a shirt. They then hang the shirt on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of violent crime: homicide, interpersonal violence, gang violence, child abuse, sexual victimization/human trafficking.

Hundreds of t-shirts, decorated by survivors and family members of those who have lost their lives as the result of violence, will be on display.  The colors of the t-shirts reveal the type of victimization and the artwork and messages are the voices of the victims.   There will be t-shirts available for victims of violence to decorate and hang on the clothesline.
