Sexism and Sexual Harassment is a system of oppression operating in a gender binary through structures of hierarchical relationships around gender which discriminates against women and results in inequality. In its extreme, it can result in severe oppression and even sexual violence and abuse. Statistics show that omen in higher education are very vulnerable to both sexism and sexual harassment. This workshop explores these topics and strategies to address and overcome these issues.
