Cadena/Transfer Center Presentations
WELCOME FACULTY!
As a commuter campus, many of our students may not be aware of the various
services and programs our office provides which are designed to assist them in
their transfer and educational goals. It is the faculty who have the greatest
contact with our students and so we encourage our faculty to take full
advantage of the following class presentations that we offer.
To schedule a
presentation or class visit to the center, please contact
our Director, Lily Espinoza at (714) 992-7543

| The Cadena/Transfer Center also provides an in-center presentation designed to facilitate course assignments that require the student to research their transfer institution & major. Students will receive a 15-20 minute presentation on the various CTC resources (catalogues, brochures, College Board publications, internet sites, FC guide to majors, and general education patterns) that will help them research the admissions and major preparatory requirements of their desired transfer institution. Our office can accommodate classes with up to 30-40 students | |

Full Presentations
|
If you know that during the semester you will not be able to hold class, we ask you not to cancel it and instead let us provide for your class a comprehensive hour-long transfer basics presentation! Students find these presentations very informative and in many cases they help to prevent mistakes in their transfer planning. All full presentations usually consist of 30-40 minute presentation and end with a tour of the Cadena/Transfer Center. |
