Mission and Purpose |

| Formed in 2001, the Fullerton College Campus Equity and Diversity Committee’s mission is to plan and develop activities and educational training programs with the purpose of promoting harmony, equality, and unity through a greater understanding of diversity. The committee promotes and protects the interests and concerns of minority and underrepresented persons. The committee promotes and celebrates the value of diversity and its positive impact on the campus environment. Its goals are to guide, direct, and promote a campus environment that ensures fair and equal treatment of all individuals, and to effectively deal with issues related to ADA compliance, sexual harassment, and unlawful discrimination. The committee creates and recommends campus activities which celebrate and acknowledge diversity, creates and recommends procedures which deal with issues related to diversity and underrepresented classes, and develops and recommends ideas with the purpose of increasing awareness of minority and underrepresented groups throughout the campus with the expressed purpose of positively impacting students, faculty and staff, and members of the community. | ||

| Fiscal Administrator Funds for diversity events are awarded and assigned to the Cadena/Transfer Center budget. Thus, fiscal oversight of these funds are assigned to the Director, Cadena/Transfer Center. Allocation of these funds for events are decided by the voting members. |
